In the year 2011, fear became nubile with the release of Ragini MMS as a new era of fear and lust was born. Ekta Kapoor‘s attempt of bringing sex and horror under one roof didn’t disappoint when Ragini MMS hit the screens. The first film proved to be a big box office success which inspired the producers to make Ragini MMS a successful franchise. The second installment of the film was released in the year 2014 which was also a box office winner. While the first installment starred Rajkummar Rao and Kainaz Motivala, the sequel had Sunny Leone and Parvin Dabas in the lead Role.
To continue the franchise further, Ekta Kapoor announced her forthcoming web-series Ragini MMS 2.2, which will be the third installment of the franchise. Earlier, Ekta Kapoor put the social media ablaze by posting an erotic poster of Ragini MMS 2.2. The much-awaited web series which will stream on ALT Balaji staring- Karishma Sharma, Riya Sen, Nishant Malkani, Siddharth Gupta and Dilnaz Irani.
While the cast of Ragini MMS 2.2 looks fresh and new, Karishma Sharma, who plays Ragini in the web series is a not a new face. She has acted in various TV shows such as Ye Hai Mohabbatein and Pavitra Rishta. She also played a prominent role in the second installment of Pyaar Ka Punchnama.
The makers have unveiled the poster of Ragini MMS 2.2 featuring lead actors Karishma Sharma and Siddharth Gupta. The poster not only looks sensual, but the woman in the red saree makes it frightening as well. The teaser of the web series is already out and the trailer will be out tomorrow. Though the release date of the web series is not announced yet, it is rumoured to stream by the end of this year only on ALT Balaji.
