So, here as you guys might be most probably aware of TVF Pitchers. The show stopper and the award-winning of all the web-series till now, and the one which you can’t miss out. The show centres around four friends who begin a start-up, and revolves around the struggle to make it successful. It’s full of drama, humour and portrays the ambitions. They embark on a journey to their self-discovery.

Baked

Baked is an Indian fiction web series which chronicles the misadventures of three University flatmates, in Delhi, who decide to start a midnight food delivery service. Produced by Pechkas Pictures and ScoopWhoop talkies, it casts Shantanu Anam, Pranay Manchanda, Manik Papneja and Kriti Vij. The character of Oni aka Shantanu Anam is one of the best characters in all of the Indian web series which makes this series fun. Baked is very Delhi Belly-isque (in their own words) and a good show to binge-watch. 

Baked just gallops away in fun quotient. The shows have an incredible pacing which holds the viewer’s attention. A big part of the show’s appeal comes from the fact that it has very little production budget, that makes it believable. It’s a feel good show, which is reminiscent of all the crazy things we do in college. Above all, it’s simple and made with a lot of heart.

Love Shots: This year – Web series are out, web films are in!

Instant love stories, whipped, baked and served in less than ten minutes: “Love Shots” is aptly named. The first of six web films produced by YFilms under the Yash Raj Films banner, directed by Ankur Tewari. Yes..! You are reading it right. It’s all under YFilms, which is a block buster since times.

Among them the lead one is “Road Trip”, starring Nimrat Kaur and Tahir Raj Bhasin, & is the story of a sparring couple with a broken down car on a highway, waiting for help. They discuss their relationships and the neat little story folds up with a sting in the tale. In “Koi Dekh Lega”, featuring Saqib Saleem and Shweta Tripathi, a blind couple who starts flirting, while waiting for a bus.

Next is the “Textbook”, featuring two school children bond over books. “Scandal Point” (Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Farida Jalal) In “Fired” featuring Tillotama Shome & feat Salim Merchant and “The Big Date” (Rhea Chakraborty, Saba Azad and Mohit Marwah). The series traces love in an unconventional way, across all ages and professions, and promises sweet romantic, refreshing tales.

 Permanent Roommates

We may not have it all together, but together we have it all, is a roommate.

The story of Permanent Roommates revolves around a young couple, who after being in a three year old long distance relationship, starts living together and contemplate marriage. The series is well written, directed and edited, plus the protagonists have done a brilliant job to their characters. This whole web series revolves around commitment-wary Tanya, and Mikesh, her overeager long-distance boyfriend.

AISHA-My virtual girlfriend

This show is completely different from others in the league and is a must watch for tech-geeks. It’s about an unusual relationship between a man and woman.

AISHA, is Sam’s girlfriend, which means “Artificial Intelligence Simulated Humanoid Assistant” (A.I.SHA), created by him, the 26 year-old app developer. He plans to take revenge from his bullying boss, Sid (played by Raghu Ram) through his app but what happens when the app gets a mind of its own? Isn’t it a stellar storyline! Do watch it, it’s quite interesting..!

Love Bytes

Love Bytes is based on trials and tribulations of a young couple in a live-in relationship, starring Kushal Punjabi and Sukhmani Sadana in lead roles.

While the guy wants to confess about the relationship to his mother, the girl thinks that the revelation would spoil her image in front of her future mother-in-law.

The series underlines, what makes these two very different individuals click and sometimes clash, the show also elucidates all those things that are necessary for an urban Indian relationship to sustain itself and the daily challenges that come in the way.

Man’s World

This story is “what-if”: What if women treated men, the way men treated women.

So, this is the story about walking a mile in their shoes, in that world. Featuring Bollywood celebs including Kalki Koechlin, Parineeti Chopra, Richa Chadha, Bhumi Pednekar. Man’s World is a story of a male chauvinist— Kiran, who feels the world is unfair to men, and voila! Fed up, he prays for the world to flip and for men and women to interchange places. As they say, be careful what you wish for… One day, he wakes up finding his father’s handling household chores, girls are eve-teasing boys on streets, and he’s menstruating. Bang baaja baaraat

A one more Yash Raj Film maker web-series, and which won the best web-series on Indian television

It’s a brilliant saga of two lovers from completely different social backgrounds who decide to get married, but not without their parent’s blessings. But the real struggle starts when their families meet and the big fat Indian wedding begins. With a very relatable storyline, the web series make a great watch.
