The trailer of the second season of The Viral Fever (TVF)’s successful web series Tripling was released on 14TH March 2019. Sumeet Vyas, Amol Parashar, Maanvi Gagroo will reprise their roles as siblings and the episodes will stream on TVF and Sony Liv app from 5 April.
TVF Tripling Season 1 Plot
The story-line involves three fucked up souls who have no idea how to face what life has thrown their way during a certain phase of their lives. Thus, these three siblings end up being with each other after being close to no contact for more than 2-3 years through a random road trip. It starts with Chandan (Sumeet Vyas), who has been recently divorced with American wife Paula. ‘Jobless and homeless’, he comes to meet his brother Chitvan (Amol Parashar), who he discovers is a penniless DJ. What Chitvan does have is a car. They drive to meet Chanchal (Maanvi Gagroo), who is suffocating in a royal Rajasthani haveli. By the end of the show’s second episode, the three of them are on the run, Chanchal from her husband and his regal pretensions. Chitvan hasn’t paid the EMI for his car in six months. He evades the bank and its burly collectors. Chandan, the eldest and most sober sibling, just wants to escape his troubled past. Click here to watch last episode of TVF Tripling season 1.
Trailer Review of TVF Tripling Season 2
The trailer begins with Chandan launching his novel, titled Tripling, based on Season 1 and Chanchal threatening him to sue with Rs 50 crore if a film based on the novel goes on the floor. Further, it is revealed that siblings are out on a road trip again, and we must expect run-ins with the police, petty politics and a royal family feud.
Tripling 2 is directed by Sameer Saxena of Permanent Roommates and Yeh Meri Family fame.
So, be ready to experience a road trip filled with lots of fun and emotions on April 5.
