Amit Bhadana wins Dadasaheb Phalke excellence award!

Named after the most versatile, talented, and legendary Dadasaheb Phalke Ji, as a not-to-profit and non-commercial event, The Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival was established in the year 2011 in Delhi NCR with a vision to accelerate and commemorate the cinema and the work of aspiring, young, independent, and professional filmmakers. However, the event also began to mark the achievements of Late Shri. Dhundiraj Govind Phalke, who is regarded by all the film industry fraternities, in India, and around the globe, as the father of Indian Cinema.

The journey of the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival

Since 2011, this festival has gained a high reputation among cinema personalities as one of the most prestigious film festival in India. It has since grown into a hub of storytellers sprawling from across countries to make their words come alive on the big screen. In fact, people from across 90+ plus nations attend the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival. Isn’t that such as amazing and overwhelming number?

On the other hand, the festival has different sections dedicated for separate genres or types of films such as features films, short films, animations, ad films, documentaries, music videos, social media videos, and etc.

In the past, this award has been won by many big names of the Indian cinema. Last year, Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Aditi Rao Hydari, Anushka Sharma, Raj Kumar Rao, and Divya Khosla Kumar won big on the award night. The year before that also saw a number of big names such as Hema Malini and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan taking home the award.

The 9th edition of the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival

This year, the festival was held for the 9th time on 22nd February in Mumbai. With an aim to celebrate and honor all the creative and aspiring talents of the cinematic universe, the award was presented to a number of up and coming people in the field of movie production, music, creative ideas, and overall entertainment industry.

But out of limitations comes creativity

This year braving his middle-class status, Amit Bhadana, one of the most followed and loved YouTuber of India won the award for the ‘Best YouTuber in India’. This well-deserved win comes only a few weeks after Amit released his, now very famous, music video ‘Parichay’, which he had dedicated to his family, friends, and well-wishers. The video has since been viewed and appreciated by more than 25 millions of people online.

Amit Bhadana shared the news about winning this award with his fans on his Instagram page and dedicated the award to every middle-class person dreaming of making it big and working tirelessly to achieve this goal.
